Fear As Sacred Invitation
How our hardest lessons offer the greatest potential for love and purpose
Sitting with our fear requires us to face our truth.
While living in denial certainly offers more comfort, it closes us off from our hearts which ultimately disconnects us from ourselves and others.
Donna Shin-Ward says in her recent memoir, My Mystical Path, that our "hardest lessons are often sacred invitations" offering space for us to clear the noise and go deeper within.
As we accept these invitations, we have the potential to discover greater love and purpose within us.
This invitation to honor our heart's truth often comes through the very thing we want to avoid: our fear.
Fear alerts us to threat (sometimes real, more often perceived), and it also guides us to trust if we can accept the invitation.
While remaining discerning about what's beneficial for your wellbeing, what if you could also trust more in the unknown?
What else might become possible?
Steady in the practice of discovery,
xoxo
